Disclaimer: unfortunately I cannot be responsible for damages to your equipment as this is not a common rapier or service procedure and you will be using non original parts that said if you follow the video to every step and make sure you are confident you have the correct parts youll be fine. (Sorry just covering my ars) This is a video showing you how to replace the little pop up target light on the front of your Technics SL MK2 turntable to an LED. the advantages to this are, the LEDs draw less power, they are brighter, they have a longer life span and as an added bonus they work out cheaper in the first place. By the way the LEDs on my decks look blue but they are actually white, they look blue on the camera because they have a high colour temperature. Order codes: Order code for maplin led: N28BY = WHITE. N30BY = GREEN. N33BY = SUNSET ORANGE. N31BY = BLUE. N32BY = YELLOW. Order code for maplin voltage regulator: QL31J = (PART NUMBER: TS7805CZ) OR UJ54J = (PART NUMBER: L78S05CV) When ordering the voltage regulator be sure to check the part number on the part its self to insure you are getting the correct part. Order code for Radioshack voltage regulator: 276-1770 = (PART NUMBER: ML7805A) WANINGS: Dont have the turntable plugged in while you have the plastic case off, i did the test with the multi-meter so you dont have to. The CDJ-900 and CDJ-2000 will play off of CD, and USB formats such as flash drives, iPods or External Hard Drives. It's rumored that there will be native support coming end of 2nd quarter this year for the CDJ-2000. Native mode means you can control Serato Scratch LIVE without timecode. Fingers crossed that I'll be able to use the hot cues and hot loops. Both CDJ-900 and CDJ-2000 offer support for Traktor Dou/Pro. Both have a built in sound card that when connected to the computer can be used with DVS software like Traktor, Mixvibes, and more. When I was 18 I spend my first holiday outside Europe, in Florida. During those 2 weeks I recorded some radio shows. I remember I recorded 2 "8 o'clock powermixes" on Power96, one by Phil Jones and one by Lazero Mendez. I played them for years on my walkman. Unfortunately I lost the Phil Jones tape. I've copied the DJ Laz tape to my computer and it's really one of the best live mixes I have ever heard, If I remember correctly he used 6 turntables for this mix. In the 54 minutes he mixed over 60 songs. I have identified almost 40 tracks. A lot of very short fragments have been used, almost impossible to identify. In the first 15 minutes (as posted here on YouTube) are these songs: 1 . Teaz 2 Pleaz - I want u 2 . Beat Club - Security 3 . Hashim - Al-Naafiysh (The Soul) 4 . Sa-Fire - Boy, i've been told 5 .
