Fedde le Grand was born in 1977 in the Netherlands. He started doing his own drive-in show at a young age, and while he liked (and still does) playing for large audiences, setting up equipment annoyed him, so he went to work at a local bar. There he rediscovered the turntables when he took over for the absent resident DJ one night and it was a great success. He focused on music from there on and gradually moved from playing local bars to bigger parties. Fedde has been inspired by the likes of Masters at Work and Mousse T and he can be best described as an all round DJ, getting an audience to dance on his catchy and groovy sounds with little effort.
